- Description: A free, interactive map of the Five Pillars of Sovereignty: seven stages from dependent to sovereign, for you, your company and your country. Build your profile and find your next brick.

Everyone invests in sovereignty. Governments demand digital sovereignty, enterprises build sovereign clouds and secure their supply chains. Yet individuals depend more than ever: we rent our data, outsource our health and lease our attention to platforms that profit from it.

The Sovereign Continuum is our answer to that gap. It is a free, interactive map that shows where you stand in the Five Pillars of Sovereignty, what the next step is, and how your own sovereignty connects to that of your company and your country.

## Sovereignty is a direction, not a switch

Nobody goes from dependent to sovereign overnight. The Continuum breaks the path into seven stages, brick by brick:

1. **Dependent.** Others decide. Critical systems belong to someone else, and often nobody has noticed.
2. **Aware.** The dependencies are known and mapped. Nothing has changed yet, but you can see where you stand.
3. **De-risking.** First alternatives exist. Single points of failure are spread across several providers.
4. **Control.** The critical assets are under your own control: your keys, your data, your supply.
5. **Resilient.** You survive the failure of a critical provider. Redundancy and reserves carry you through.
6. **Parallel.** Alternative systems run alongside the mainstream ones, so leaving is a real option, not a theory.
7. **Sovereign.** No dependency remains whose failure gives another actor unacceptable control over you. Chosen interdependence, not isolation.

## Five pillars, three scales, one set of laws

Every stage is mapped across the five pillars: **Money, Health, Data, Attention and Energy**. And every pillar is shown at three scales: **Personal** (you and your household), **Enterprise** (companies and organisations) and **State** (nations and public institutions).

Read one row from left to right and you see the same law at three sizes. Financial sovereignty for a family, for a company and monetary sovereignty for a nation follow the same logic. That is why they pull on each other: a country that loses control of its money or energy drags its companies and households with it, and a population of self-reliant households makes a nation harder to capture.

## What you can do on the page

- **Choose your lens.** Look at yourself, your company or your country. Your scale stays highlighted everywhere.
- **Walk the seven stages.** Use the dial, click a stage or simply scroll. Filter by pillar or search for any topic.
- **Open any card for a deep dive.** See the same stage at all three scales, the full seven-stage path of that pillar and how it links to the others.
- **Follow the connections.** Sixteen links between the scales, marked as mirror, reinforcing, tension or cascade, show where progress in one place helps or hurts another.
- **Build your sovereignty profile.** Place yourself in each pillar, then answer three check questions that test your own estimate. The journey then marks where you are, your next brick and what is done.
- **Get your personal summary and report.** Your strongest and weakest pillar, where your answers contradict your estimate, your next three bricks, the connections that affect you and the multipliers that help most. Print it, save it as PDF or download it.
- **Weigh the cost.** More sovereignty costs convenience and effort. A trade-off chart shows the sweet spot for a household, a company, a hospital or a state. Not every pillar needs stage seven.
- **Use the multipliers.** Eight forces lift every pillar at once: food and supply, skills, knowledge, community, family, security, mobility and exit, and time preference.

## The universal test

Whether you assess yourself, a company or a country, it comes down to three questions:

1. Who controls access to my critical system?
2. What happens if my primary provider disappears tomorrow?
3. Do I have a credible alternative or exit path?

The Continuum asks them for each pillar and helps you turn the answers into your next concrete step.

## Who it is for

- **Individuals and families** who want to take back control of their money, health, data, attention and energy, one brick at a time.
- **Founders and business leaders** who want to see where their organisation depends on a single provider, and what resilience would really cost.
- **Public servants, educators and policy makers** who want a shared language for sovereignty that works from the household up to the nation.
